Parenting Consultation

Parenting can be one of the most meaningful parts of life. It can also be one of the most challenging. There are times when something feels off, either in your child or in the dynamic between you, and it’s not always clear what to do next.

You may find yourself wondering:

  • Is this something to be concerned about?

  • Am I responding in the right way?

  • Why does this keep happening?

Parenting consultation offers a space to step back, look more closely at what’s going on, and think through how to respond in a way that feels more steady and intentional.

When Parents Reach Out

Parents often seek consultation when they notice:

  • changes in behavior or mood

  • increased anxiety or frustration in their child

  • recurring conflict at home

  • difficulty setting limits or following through

  • uncertainty about how to respond to a specific situation

Sometimes the concern is clear. Other times it’s more of a general sense that something isn’t quite right.

What Consultation Looks Like

Parenting consultation is a conversation focused on understanding.

We take time to look at:

  • what you’re seeing in your child

  • how situations are unfolding

  • patterns that may be developing over time

From there, we begin to explore practical ways of responding. The goal is not to provide quick answers, but to help you develop a clearer understanding of your child and more confidence in how you approach parenting.

Working Together

Some parents come for a few conversations around a specific issue. Others find it helpful to check in periodically as their child grows and new challenges arise. There is flexibility in how this work unfolds.

In Person and Online Options

Parenting consultations are available:

  • in person in Colorado

  • online across Colorado and Tennessee

Online sessions work well for many parents, especially when schedules are full.

How to Get Started

If you have questions or concerns about your child, you’re welcome to reach out. We can schedule a brief conversation to talk through what you’re seeing and whether a consultation might be helpful.
