adolescent, & family therapy

As parents, we sometimes lie awake at night, worrying about our children’s happiness, or safety, or well-being. Watching them go through emotional ups and downs, pulling away from us, or struggling silently can leave us feeling helpless and unsure of how to reach them. The changes during adolescence can impact the whole family, with strained communication, or when emotions run high. The closeness we once felt feels lost or out of reach. Family therapy offers a space where we can come together, not to fix one person, but to talk about hard things and reconnect.

Family therapy can offer a honest place to better understand each other, rebuild connection, and explore ways to soften rigid boundaries. We’ll explore ways to shift out of negative cycles, and lean into our strengths. Through small but meaningful changes, we can start to repair the relationship, and find new ways of being together that feel more open, trustworthy, and aligned.

Couples therapy

Our closest relationships often mean the most to us.  That’s where we turn for support, love, and a sense of home. When things start to feel off between partners, it can be really upsetting and hard to make sense of. You might find yourselves stuck in the same arguments, feeling distant, or unsure how to reconnect. Even with the best intentions, couples can fall into patterns that leave both people feeling angry, hurt or alone. It’s not always easy to figure out how to break those cycles, especially when emotions run high and communication starts to break down.

In therapy, we’ll work together to better understand what’s really going on in your relationship. We’ll take time to hear each of your perspectives and explore the feelings that may be driving certain reactions. The goal isn’t to place blame, but to get clear on the patterns that keep showing up, and more importantly, why they show up. With this insight, we can begin to shift how you relate to each other, build more trust, and create a stronger bond. The process helps both partners feel safer, more connected, and better able to navigate challenges together.

Individual therapy

Individual therapy can be a powerful, personal journey, where you have the space to slow down, reflect, and begin to understand yourself in a deeper way. Whether you’re working through painful experiences from the past, feeling overwhelmed by current stress, or feeling anxious about what’s ahead, therapy offers a place to explore what’s on your mind. Sometimes we carry old patterns, unspoken emotions, or self-doubt that quietly shape how we move through the world. Taking time to sort through these things in a supportive space can lead to meaningful growth, healing, and a stronger sense of self.

And the day came when the risk to remain tight in the bud was more painful than the risk to blossom.
